There many variations of poker and all of them have a very strong following. There are those advocates of poker that claim that this is a game based purely on skill and knowledge and that it takes the element of chance, thus the odds of winning are greater depending on your ability. Some disagree and state that every game that relies on the draw of the cards has a greater reliance on chance than anything else. The truth is that the answer lies somewhere in the middle. Online training sites are useful in a way that you can test out just how you intend to play the game. If there are others involved on that particular site, you will also learn how to adapt and how to read the play.
There can be one thing that is certain in poker and that is that the game has so many facets that it has great longevity, no two games play the same and you will learn more and more as you play.
